We are looking for a weekend bartender to join our team at Antiques on High.

Antiques on High, a cocktail-forward bar and sour-focused brewery in the heart of German Village, is seeking an experienced and hospitality-driven Bartender to join our weekend team. As part of the Seventh Son Brewing group, AOH offers a unique blend of inventive cocktails, mixed-culture and barrel-aged beers, and a lively atmosphere.

Our bar program is rooted in creativity, precision, and guest experience. In addition to crafting high-quality drinks, our team plays an active role in the full guest experience, including food service support and maintaining an energetic, welcoming environment.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate has a passion for cocktails, an appreciation for sour and mixed-fermentation beers, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys engaging with guests, executing a thoughtful beverage program, and contributing to a high-energy service environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency and attention to detail.

  • Develop a strong understanding of our cocktail menu and sour beer offerings to confidently guide guests.

  • Take food orders, coordinate with the kitchen, and deliver food to guests.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bar environment.

  • Process transactions accurately using Toast POS, including cash handling.

  • Create a welcoming and engaging guest experience through conversation and thoughtful recommendations.

  • Ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with Ohio laws.

  • Manage time effectively during high-volume service while maintaining quality.

  • Work collaboratively with barbacks, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service.

Requirements

  • Prior bartending experience required (craft cocktail experience strongly preferred).

  • Strong hospitality mindset and communication skills.

  • Interest in (or knowledge of) craft cocktails, sour beer, and fermentation-driven beverages.

  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume environment.

  • Basic math and POS proficiency.

  • Food safety knowledge is a plus.
